Brad and Heidi were childhood sweethearts who dated long distance. They went to Wheaton College (IL) where they both earned a B.A. After graduation, Brad received his MDiv from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School near Chicago.
Brad has communicated to a wide variety of audiences around the world for over 30 years as a pastor and conference speaker. After serving at a church in Pennsylvania, Brad and Heidi planted a church in a small town in Minnesota that reached 500 people for Christ. Following their ministry in Minnesota, Brad was on staff at Willow Creek Community Church in Chicago as the director of three ministries: Men’s, Prayer, and Sports. He spoke multiple times at Willow Creek Community Church’s services. Brad also developed and taught breakouts for the National Coalition of Men’s Ministries, The Willow Creek Association, and Saddleback Church conferences. He has pastored large churches in Michigan and South Carolina. He speaks at men’s retreats across the country. Currently, Brad is the Lead Pastor of a church in the Cincinnati area.
Heidi has been a pastor’s wife for over 30 years. She has led small groups and taught women’s Bible studies for decades. God has gifted her with international opportunities as a conference and event speaker. Recently her article on prayer was featured in Prayer Connect Magazine. Heidi is passionate about ministering to women, parenting, and building strong marriages.
As a team, Brad and Heidi love to speak at marriage retreats and conferences on how to Build Your Marriage. They’ve written three books:
- Build Your Marriage with Couples of the Bible, a couples small group Bible study
- Build Your Marriage One Day at a Time, 366 questions for couples to connect at a deeper level
- Ruined to Recovery, an Amazon best seller, provides help for husbands and wives when an affair is discovered
Married for over 37 years, Brad and Heidi have three married children, a daughter-in-love, and two sons-in-love. They enjoy traveling, reading, hanging out with friends, and going for long walks on a beach, in the mountains, or even in their neighborhood.
